Exciting News!  We had some schools reach out and we now have a last minute Cross-Country opportunity to offer to our K-2 grades.  This will give our early elementary students an introduction to our Cross-Country program here at Sacred Heart.

We are thrilled to announce the formation of two varsity volleyball teams for the 2024-2025 season! This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to our school's dedication to athletic excellence.

Elementary Flag Football, Congratulations!

Yesterday’s flag football tryouts were a huge success! It was fantastic watching the kids learn and have fun together. We’re excited to announce the formation of two teams: Team Crimson and Team Gold.

Player placement was determined based on observed skills and grade levels. The coaches are eager to start building team spirit and teaching new football fundamentals.

Our first games will in the Elementary Jamboree THIS Saturday at Sacred Heart:

• Crimson: Warm-ups at 8:30 AM, game starts at 9:00 AM

• Gold: Warm-ups at 9:00 AM, game starts at 9:30 AM

You can wear cleats or tennis shoes at the game, and you will need a water bottle.  We will have pennies/jerseys for your player.

Remember, this is a jamboree to get everyone comfortable with game play, look at positions on both teams, and build teamwork.  Since this sport is new for many, it's a great way to kick off the season! And we are hosting this jamboree so we will need 2 parents to help on Saturday with Gate & Scorekeeper. If you could volunteer, please text Coach Jackie, 865-207-7297.

Please let Coach Thomas know if you CANNOT attend by texting 404-804-9678.  We assume if you do not text Coach you will be there ready to play on Saturday.

Tryouts were a huge success! We're excited to announce both a Varsity and JV Flag Football team this season. The talent and enthusiasm we saw yesterday were incredible. We can't wait to build on that momentum and provide opportunities for all Sacred Heart athletes to grow and develop their skills. Let's make this season one to remember!

Here is the updated game schedule for the 2024 Volleyball season.  Please check your email for upcoming practice schedule.

First game for the teams is the Feeder Fest at Knoxville Catholic High School, August 17th.  Support your Lady Eagles and watch some volleyball support KCHS Volleyball.

Varsity Tryouts - August 19 & 20

Middle School (6th-8th) Flag Football Tryouts are August 8, 5:30p-6:30p at Sacred Heart.  Please pre-register if you plan to tryout.

Elementary (3rd-5th) Flag Football Tryouts are August 12th from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Sacred Heart. Games are on Saturdays and games start Saturday, August 24th. Please pre-register if you plan to tryout.

If your student plans to play sports from Eaglets to 8th grade next year, please schedule your doctor’s visit for physicals early. All physicals done after May 15th count for the full school year. All students participating in any athletic event need to have a physical before they can participate. Download a copy of the coupon using the link below.

We will be partnering up with Performance Training starting this summer.  We will be working with our coaches and teams offering extra training sessions to supplement  team practices.   

And Performance Training is just up the hill near Erin Drive for easy access for our athletes and the PT staff can easily come to our campus.
